This recipe is a must for anyone who loves layered desserts but has difficulty finding free-from sponge fingers in their local supermarket! (*-^)
You will need:
*Preheat oven to 180c // 160c fan // 350f
*Plain Flour : 250g // 9oz // 1 3/4 cups
*1/2 tsp baking powder
*Caster sugar : 100g // 3.5 oz // I/2 cup (plus extra for dusting)
*Butter – 120g // 4 oz // 1/2 cup
*Milk – 125 ml // 4 fl oz // 1/2 cup
*1 tsp vanilla extract
*Piping bag
