For All Gluten Free Vegan Desserts Lovers 🙂
This No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Tart is made with healthy ingredients like nuts, seeds, and sweet potato. This tart is vegan, gluten-free, and free of sugar.
Using sweet potato as a way to sweeten and give a deliciously, thick, smooth texture to the filling.
INGREDIENTS (6-inch)
CRUST
• 3/4 cup walnuts*
• 1/4 cup sunflower seeds*
• 1/4 cup flaxseed meal*
• 1 Tbsp cacao nibs
• 1 Tbsp cacao powder
• 1 Tbsp carob powder (optional)
• Pinch sea salt
• 3 Medjool dates, pitted (50g) *
• 2 Tbsp melted coconut oil
*sub your choice of nuts/seeds
FILLING
• 250 g sweet potatoes, steamed
• 1 cup coconut cream, scoopable (sub full-fat coconut milk)
• 1/4 cup cacao powder
• 5 Tbsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)
• Pinch sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
1. CRUST – Add all of the crust ingredients except dates and oil into a food processor and process until small crumble forms.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and process it comes together.
3. Pour the mixture into a 6” springform cake pan. Flatten the mixture.
4. Place the crust in the fridge to chill while you make the filling.
5. FILLING – Add all of the filling ingredients into the food processor. Process until completely smooth.
6. Pour the mixture onto the crust, and smooth out.
7. Place in the fridge to chill for at least 2-3 hours or overnight.
