Tofu is always a staple in my kitchen because it can really take on whatever flavor you want. Cooking tofu doesn’t have to be hard or intimidating if you just use the right spices and seasonings to make it taste absolutely delicious. Make these simple tofu recipes and you will fall in love with tofu!

Crispy Tofu Nuggets
1 lb extra firm tofu
1 tbsp coconut aminos
1-2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbs nutritional yeast
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Chickenless seasoning
Turmeric
Pepper
Salt
Toss together and put in air fryer at 370 for 12 minutes.
Buffalo Tofu
1 lb firm tofu (pressed)
1/2 cup Franks original red hot sauce
1/2 cup vegetable broth
3 tbs hemp seeds
3 tsp tahini
3 tsp coconut aminos (do not sub)
Cut into cubes. Toss in the marinade and bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
Instant Pot Tofu “Peanut” Curry
1 red bell pepper
1 white onion
Fresh ginger
2 cloves minced garlic
mushrooms
1 ½ cup light coconut milk
¼ cup sunbutter
2 tbps sriracha
3 tbps red curry paste
¼ cup water
1 ½ lbs firm tofu pressed
1 tbsp tamari
1 tbsp coconut aminos
Juice from ½ lemon
Baby spinach
Mix the coconut milk, sun butter, sriracha, water and red curry paste in a bowl and set aside. On the saute setting, add in a splash of water, pepper, onion, ginger and garlic and let simmer until soft. Add in the sauce and mix everything together. Add in the tofu, place the lid on top and set on high pressure for 5 minutes. Let the pressure naturally release for 5 minutes. Release the rest of the pressure, remove the lid and squeeze in the lemon, add the spinach and mix everything together. Top with cilantro or basil.
Chocolate Mousse
1 lb silken tofu
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
20 g cocoa powder 3-4 tbsp
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ -½ tsp monk fruit
Sprinkle salt
Blend everything in the food processor until smooth. Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Top with coconut whipped cream and cacao nibs.
Ranch
1 lb firm tofu
3 tbsp dill weed
2 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 clove garlic
30 g fresh parsley
2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp pickle juice
Juice from 1 lemon
1 tsp salt
Pepper
Blend everything in a food processor until smooth.
