This is a quick and healthy vegan dessert – moist Gluten Free Brownies that are Dairy Free and without sugar added to the batter. The base is on sweet potato, which is a great approach to the texture of the brownie. The result is a wonderful, healthy recipe for sugar free, gluten free dessert that is fully vegan!
Healthy Vegan Dessert Recipe Ingredients for Quick Gluten Free Brownies
1½ Cups Cooked Sweet Potatoes (see below, I simply boiled them).
½ Cup Almond Butter
¼ Cup Almond Flour
¼ Cup Cacao Powder
1 Tbsp Melted Coconut Butter
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of salt
½ Cup Maple Syrup
½ Cup Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
Quick Gluten Free Brownies from Sweet Potatoes Instructions
1. Cook the sweet potato. I simply boiled them until they were soft with a fork.
2. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C)
3. Mix all ingredients for the Gluten Free Brownies in a bowl.
4. Stir chocolate chips, pour the batter for the Gluten Free Brownies into 9 in (22 cm) square baking pan lined with parchment paper.
5. Top with more chocolate chips
6. Bake the Gluten Free Vegan Brownies at 350° F (175° C) 30-35 minutes
7. Let cool in an hour
