Hey guys welcome to Day 6 of the healthy indian dinners series ☺️ today we are making one of the BEST vegan indian dishes, I am sure you all have tried some versions of this, this recipe is meant to be a very easy version that’s no fuss and healthy. Let me know what versions you guys like to make 😊
Ingredients :
3 cloves
3 cardomon
1 cinnamon stick
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 small onion
3 cloves garlic
1 thumbsize ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coriander powder
2 tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup cooked chickpeas
Method
⭐ Heat pan with vegetable oil. Add cumin seeds and heat untill it’s crackled. Then add minced onion, ginger and garlic. Cook for 5 mins or untill onions are soft
⭐Add the turmeric, coriander, chili powder along with the garam masala, diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook for 8-10 minutes
⭐ Add the cooked chickpeas along with some water and salt. Cook for a 5-10 minutes
⭐Serve with fresh herbs
