    In this video, Amazing Plant Based Thanksgiving Appetizers, we show you Starch Solution weight loss friendly meals for your vegan holiday gatherings. These amazing plant based Thanksgiving appetizers are perfect for Thanksgiving as well as Christmas or any other holiday you celebrate.

    Ingredients:
    HOT Plant Based Spinach and Artichoke Dip

    3 cups of frozen cut spinach, thawed
    10 oz of frozen artichokes, thawed (or a 14.5 oz can, rinsed)
    (1) 8 oz can of water chestnuts, diced
    ¼ cup of soaked cashews (optional)
    1 ½ cups of plant milk ( I used Soy)
    1 mushroom cap, diced ( optional)
    2 whole shallots, diced
    2 cloves of garlic
    Juice of 1 lemon
    A splash of white vinegar ( I use champagne vinegar)
    1 tbsp of garlic powder
    1 tbsp of onion powder
    3 tbsp of tapioca powder
    3 tbsp of nutritional yeast
    Red pepper flakes to taste sprinkled on before adding to the oven (optional)

    Saute shallot and mushrooms together until tender.

    While the mushrooms and shallots saute, prepare the cream.

    To prepare the cream add all other ingredients EXCEPT the spinach, artichoke and water chestnuts to a blender. Blend well and until smooth and creamy.

    Add the mushroom and shallot to the baking dish you will cook the dip in.

    Add the cream to the pan the mushroom mixture was just in.

    Cook on medium high constantly stirring for 3-5 mins until it is gooey like cheese! DO NOT walk away. It will burn on you easily.

    Once that is complete, add it to the pan with the mushroom mixture and then fold in the spinach and artichoke.

    Cook on 350 F for 30 minutes until bubbly.

    Then broil until the top browns (mine took 4 ½ minutes).

    Serve HOT!!! If you need to, do not bake and broil until 35 minutes before serving!
