Ingredients
Yield: 2 cups (6-8 servings)
2 cups cooked yellow split peas
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup tahini paste
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Pinch of cayenne
1-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Optional: garnish with sumac or chopped herbs like parsley
